Details: We are a family orientated football club catering for children in the Under 7’s, Under 8’s, Under 9’s, Under 10’s, Under 11’s and Under 12’s age groups. Spring and summer training sessions are held at Ledger Lane J & I School Outwood on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Winter training is facilitated indoors where possible including regular sessions at Wakefield Football Centre.
Competitive friendly games are held most Sunday mornings and age groups above Under 10’s compete in regional Junior Football Leagues. Subs are charged on a monthly basis. We are accredited to the F.A community Club Standard and as such we subscribe fully to the FA Child Protection policy and all Parent volunteers are police checked and certified by the Football Association to work with children in football.
We believe in a philosophy of inclusion and involvement for all children of all ages and ability and we aim to run our club on a “fun first” basis whilst maintaining a competitive edge in competitions. We hold regular fun day events and our end of season presentation evening ensures that every single player involved in the teams are rewarded with a minimal of a good quality players trophy.
